You just signed a R15,000 brand deal. Now what?
The brand asks for an invoice with your details, banking info and terms. You open Word, copy last month's file, and hope the numbers add up. There's a better way to look like a business.
Sorted is invoicing, tax estimates and media kits built for South African creators. Know what SARS will want before they ask — from R99/month.

The money side of creating in South Africa is where things quietly go wrong. Three stories we hear every week:
The brand asks for an invoice with your details, banking info and terms. You open Word, copy last month's file, and hope the numbers add up. There's a better way to look like a business.
If you earn outside a salary, you likely owe provisional tax in August and February. Most creators find out from a penalty letter. You should find out from a friendly reminder, months in advance.
An accountant files your return once a year. The other 364 days — invoicing, chasing payments, tracking expenses, watching thresholds — that's been on you. Until now.
Invoicing, tax and your media kit — connected, so every brand deal you close keeps your books and your SARS estimate current on its own.
“My first proper brand deal was R8,000 and I had no idea I was supposed to invoice like a business — or that SARS would want a cut. I needed someone to just tell me what to do, in order.”12k followers · side hustle → real income
“This is my whole income now. I pay an accountant, and I still spend Sunday nights chasing invoices and saving slips. And apparently I'm getting close to the VAT threshold? Nobody told me that.”85k followers · R40k–R80k/month
“Brands don't care about my follower count — they care about my content and my rates. I send more invoices than anyone I know. Each one needs to look like it came from a real company.”Small following · high deal volume
Sorted is built by @higgyjiggy_ — an active creator who got tired of Word invoices, surprise tax bills and admin Sundays, and started building the tool he already needed. Every feature exists because it solved a real problem in a real creator business first.
An accountant runs about R2,500 a month and still leaves the day-to-day admin with you. Sorted starts at R99/month and does the daily work itself — then hands your accountant a clean year-end pack if you have one.
Provisional tax periods. The R2.3 million VAT registration threshold. SARS-compliant invoice requirements. POPIA. These aren’t settings you configure — they’re how Sorted works out of the box, because it was never built for anywhere else.
No. Sorted does the maths and the reminders — live estimates, deadlines, deductible expense tracking. For advice on your specific situation, you want a registered tax practitioner, and we make their job easy with a one-click export of everything.
You can export everything — invoices, expenses, tax history — as PDF and CSV before you go. We keep your account recoverable for 30 days in case you change your mind, then delete it permanently. Your data is yours; it's never sold or shared.
Not yet. Multi-currency invoicing is on the roadmap for after launch — ZAR only for now, so your tax estimate stays exact.
One click gives you a year-end pack: income summary, all invoices, categorised expenses, and your provisional tax payment history. It's formatted the way accountants expect, so you're not paying them to decode a shoebox of slips.
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we're built to comply with POPIA from day one. We collect only what the product needs, you can see exactly what we hold, and you can delete it at any time. We will never sell your data.
Sorted works properly in your phone's browser from day one — most of our early users run their whole business that way. Native iOS and Android apps are planned after launch, once the core product has earned them.
We’re launching to a small group of SA creators first. Get on the list and we’ll let you know when your spot opens up.
